Danone of North America | Headquarters Relocation
Investing in their people
In Spring 2018, Danone of North America relocated their headquarters to White Plains, New York. OFI partnered with CPG Architects & Planners to furnish 120,000 square feet with a focus on an open floor plan and collaborative spaces. This included a café, conference rooms and numerous informal meeting spaces. OFI, CPG and Danone established a structured timeline and budget within which the project was completed.
The main objective of the design was to empower the employees with choices for where to work and collaborate and provide more private spaces for heads-down quiet work. Danone took advantage of OFI’s value added services with assistance in change communication. Internal discovery meetings brought to light the needs to be met, and those changes were communicated in a variety of ways. Employees were well-informed throughout the process with the changes-to-come communicated in a variety ways.
Herman Miller was the prominent manufacturer in the space:
Canvas Dock & Layout Studio workstations; Swoop lounge, Prospect, Public Office and Locale in collaborative areas; Tu storage for personal and shared storage
19 other manufactures are highlighted in the space, such as: National Office Furniture, JSI, ECI
