Diversity in Design presented by Insightful Chicago will bring the topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to the Herman Miller Design Insight Series platform. A moderated conversation with 6 leaders in design from varying parts of the United States. This will be a dynamic dialogue where the panelists will share insights on the topic as well as personal experiences.
Insightful Chicago came to be as the results of a conversation almost a year ago among 3 friends; Catie Kill, Derek Jayson Rusch, and Tyler Offutt, around ways to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the Commercial Real Estate and Design industry. The goal since inception has been to create a platform for Woman, BIPOC and the LGBTQ community to share their personal story’s and insights on these topics. To do so, Insightful Chicago brought together industry leaders from around the country that are representative of Woman, BIPOC and the LGBTQ community for several moderated discussions. Addressing topics with the hopes of challenging our audience to open their mind on things such as race, sexuality, gender, religion, cultural differences, education, the work environment, and an overarching message of equality for all.
