Herman Miller Reopens Manufacturing to Produce Healthcare Supplies
The Zeeland-based furniture company will be reconfiguring to start making mattress covers and masks
Herman Miller closed all its West Michigan facilities after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued a stay at home order last week. However on Monday, March 30, the furniture company said it will be reconfiguring its facilities to start making healthcare products. They will be welcoming back 30% of their West Michigan manufacturing workforce on a voluntary basis to start making supplies that directly support the healthcare industry.
